Can we retrieve accounting strings used in NetSuite?

Requirement:

Is there a way to look at all the accounting combinations used in NetSuite, like company.department.account.program.location?

Just want to see what combinations of the above segments have been used so far in NetSuite.

Solution:

1. Create a Transaction Saved Search:
2. Navigate to: Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
3. Choose Transaction as the record type.
4. Criteria:
5. Set filters to include the specific transaction types you are interested in (e.g., Journal Entry, Vendor Bill)
6. Results:
7. In the Results tab, add fields for each of the segment values you want to see (e.g., Company, Department, Account, Program, Location, and any custom segments you have).
8. Summary:
9. Group the results by each segment to see unique combinations by selecting Group for each field under Summary Type.
10. Run Search:
11. This will provide you with a list of unique combinations of segment values from all transactions that match the criteria
