AllCraft Trade Solutions would like to create a Delivery Docket by including more details

Requirement 

AllCraft Trade Solutions want to create a Delivery Docket by including more details.

1. Adding the customer purchase order
2. Replacing the “options” column with a “check column, and a box to appear along with each item so the driver can tick off each item as they deliver
3. Remove the barcode that appears at the bottom of the docket and replace it with a “Delivery notes” box – this way the drivers can write notes about the delivery when they are on site
4. Add a box for “date” that the customer can write the date
5. Add a box for the customer to write their name
6. Need to display backorders on the delivery docket. For example, if we partially fulfill a particular item, the backorder shows up on the docket. However, if we completely untick an item when fulfilling, it does not show up at all as a backorder.

Our Solution

Description of Task

This requirement can be achieved by creating a new packing slip advanced PDF template. And the new advanced PDF can be applied to the existing packing slip form “1 Allcraft Delivery Docket /Packing Slip”.

Note

1. The tracking number is populated from the field package tracking number of Item fulfillment.

2. We are considering only the following cases to populate the item lines in the delivery docket:

• Items that are fulfilled in the corresponding fulfillment whose delivery docket is printed.
• Items that are back-ordered in the Sales Order of the corresponding fulfillment whose delivery docket is printed.

Note:

Items that are not back ordered but not yet fulfilled are not considered here.
