Proposal for Website policy Integration Development

This proposal covers the scope of implementing features on the website to ensure users are properly informed and agree to key website policies during registration, checkout, and to add links in the website footer. Specifically, it focuses on adding links to important policy documents at the bottom of the website and incorporating policy acceptance checkboxes during the account creation and checkout processes for Pure Care Inc Canada – NS/SCA (hereafter referred to as “client”). These features aim to provide the necessary legal compliance and user transparency, while maintaining a seamless user experience on the website. This proposal also covers the engagement scope of Jobin & Jismi (hereafter referred to as “implementer”), as the official implementation partner of Oracle NetSuite. 

Proposal Summary

This proposal covers the implementation of policy integration features on the website for Pure Care Inc Canada – NS/SCA. It includes adding footer links to policy documents (Website Terms of Use, Website Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy) and implementing checkboxes for policy acceptance during account creation and checkout. The estimated time for the completion of the proposal is 60 hours. The scope and the provided estimate are based on the anticipation, expectation, and understanding through our discussions and email. If the scope change/additional feature development identified during actual development, they will be treated as change request.

Requirement from Pure Care Inc Canada NS/SCA

The client requires the following updates on their website to ensure compliance with legal standards and to enhance transparency for their users: Footer Links for Website Policies • Add links to the following documents at the bottom of the website: ▪ Website Terms of Use ▪ Website Terms of Sale ▪ Privacy Policy These links should be accessible from all pages, navigating users to newly created SMT pages with the respective policy content. 

Account Creation Policy Acceptance

  • Users must accept the terms (Website Terms of Use, Website Terms of Sale, and Privacy Policy) during account registration by clicking checkboxes. Each policy will be hyperlinked to its respective document. 

Checkout Policy Acceptance

  • During checkout, users must accept the Website Terms of Sale via a checkbox before completing their order. This checkbox will be mandatory for placing an order.

The implementer will Create Three SMT pages and the UI will match the current theme.

1.Footer

The implementer will create three SMT pages for each policy (Website Terms of Use, Website Terms of Sale, and Privacy Policy) and add links in the footer of the website. Clicking these links will navigate users to the corresponding pages. 

2.Registration page 

Policy acceptance checkboxes showing in the register page. 

The implementer will add three checkboxes on the registration page, allowing users to confirm their agreement with the policy documents. Each checkbox will be hyperlinked to its respective document, and validation will be added to ensure users cannot proceed without selecting all checkboxes.

Implementing policy acceptance checkbox at checkout. 

The implementer will add a checkbox for the Website Terms of Sale at checkout. This checkbox will be positioned after the review and billing sections. It will be mandatory for users to select this checkbox to proceed with placing their order.

Scope Limitation

• This proposal is based on discussions, anticipations, and understandings between the client and the implementer. Any additional feature development or scope changes identified during the actual development process will be treated as change requests.

• Design changes beyond the default website layout are not included in the scope. 

Assumption

• The client will provide finalized content for the policies (Website Terms of Use, Website Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy).

• UI design will match the default layout of the current website, and any new design changes will be considered out of scope.

• The implementation will occur on the staging domain before deployment to the production domain.

• The client will provide a fully set-up staging domain for development purposes.
