Scenario
Administrators have the ability to run Mass Updates and the progress can be viewed. Refer to Check Mass Update Status in NetSuite.
There are times when the Mass Update is stuck at 0%.
Solution
Factors which may cause delay:
- Progress may depend on the amount of data to be updated.
- Mass Update performs on a first come first serve basis, if there are other updates or other users who have done a mass update first, they get prioritized and the most recent would go into queue.
- Scheduled Mass Updates are also prioritized. Please see Scheduling Mass Updates. A running Mass Update may stop when it is time to run a scheduled Mass Update. It would resume once the scheduled Mass Update completes.
It is recommended to wait within 24-48 hours and check for progress.
If the Mass Update still shows 0 progress after 48 hours, please contact Support for further investigation.
