As per field level help, user can enable the WMS MAKE WH SITE preference on the Location record to make it a Warehouse Site for WMS Lite.
Once the location becomes a warehouse site, user can then use this location for processes allowed by WMS Lite. The processes that can be performed in WMS Lite are listed in the NetSuite WMS User Guide (SuiteAnswers ID 50287).
If user decides to turn off the WMS MAKE WH SITE preference after processing transactions in the WMS Lite, below are the effects:
- Historical transactions/related WMS tasks retain in the system.
- If there are already picked items for orders, user can finish the Item Fulfillment process in NetSuite (eg. Pack & Ship).
- Location is no longer a Warehouse Site for WMS Lite.
- In the WMS Menu, user will no longer see this location.
- User may then proceed on using the location for records processed via NetSuite user interface.
