Unable to Print Bin Numbers in Picking Ticket via Advanced PDF/HTML Template

Scenario

On Advanced PDF/HTML Template the string ${ITEM} is used to print the Bin Numbers for each line item. However, the string does not display the Bin Numbers.

 

Solution

 

1. Enable Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management
2. Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features
3. Click Items & Inventory
4. Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management: Enter Checkmark
5. Click Save
6. Enable Inventory Detail column on Transaction Form
7. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
8. Preferred Custom Transaction form: Click Edit
9. Example: Custom Sales Order
10. Click Sublist Fields
11. Inventory Detail: Enter Checkmark
12. Click Save

Note: The string will display Bin Numbers for Serialized and Lot-Numbered Items only since Inventory Detail information is not available for Standard Items in the Line-level of Transactions.
