The proposal covers the updates in cart, checkout, my account, and shipping cost calculations.
Requirement

On the production test account ( crossfit@goodearthdist.com / GoodEarth123!) we have a shipped item fulfillment (80143) that is listed on SCA purchase history but the link to the FedEx website is broken.
The link currently points to: http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?action=track&tracknumbers=283841377036
but needs to point to: https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/?trknbr=283841377036
Shopping Cart / Check Out
At the order summary, the total cost is shown next to the item count and the shipping cost is shown as a separate line.
Can we show it as subtotal, shipping cost, and tax all separate as below? 1 item, $18.62 (Shipping cost $9.22, Tax $1.84). At the checkout page, can we add the subtotal that is not displayed?
Shipping cost calculation parameters
I couldn’t find the shipping cost calculation parameters in the general preferences section of NetSuite as originally requested. I guess the parameters are currently hardcoded as time was tight to go live. Can you check on this? Placing them on a section called “Shipping cost calculation parameters” located between “General” and “Celigo integrator.io” will be great.
Our Solution

Currently, in the SCA core module, the link to FedEx is linked to the URL http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?action=track&tracknumbers=.
We can update the URL to https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/?trknbr=.
Note: In the future, if there are any updates to the FedEx tracking URL, the new URL which we are updating will not work. The tracking URL update will be applied to all types of customers.
- Shopping Cart / Check Out
We will be splitting and showing the subtotal, shipping cost, and tax cost separately on the cart page. On the checkout page, the subtotal will be shown.
Doubt: The change is only applicable to credit card customers. Could you please confirm?
- Shipping cost calculation parameters
We will be creating the fields in the general preference tab. As you mentioned we will try to create a section named “Shipping cost calculation parameters” to group the new set of fields. The possibility of creating the new section needs to check. If the section is not created, it will be listed in the custom section itself.
