How to Automatically Import an EDI Profile in Boomi
1. Navigate to the EDI Profile Section
- Log in to Boomi AtomSphere.
- Click Build → New Component → EDI Profile.
2. Select Automatic Import Option
- In the EDI Profile editor, click on Import.
- Instead of browsing for a file, select Automatically Import Profile.
3. Specify EDI Flow and Version
- Choose the EDI Standard (X12, EDIFACT, etc.).
- Enter the EDI Flow (e.g., 850 for Purchase Orders, 810 for Invoices).
- Select the Version (e.g., X12 4010, EDIFACT D96A).
4. Import and Review the Profile
- Click Import, and Boomi will automatically fetch the profile based on the provided details.
- Review the imported structure, making any necessary modifications.
5. Save and Use the Profile
- Click Save and Close.
- Use this profile in an EDI processing flow within your integration.
This automatic import feature saves time by eliminating the need to manually upload .sef or .ecs files, ensuring a standardized EDI profile setup.
