‘Unexpected Error’ message is encountered uploading a Private Key.

 To resolve this, generating new public and private keys must be done.

 

Solution

1. Open Windows PowerShell in Administrator Mode
2. On the PowerShell, choose a driver from where will you store the keys
3. Note: Please make sure that this storage already exists on your device and that you are just calling it on PowerShell

5. Refer to the below screenshot sample of  key generation via PowerShell:

7. Check the folder directory where the generated public and private key is located which should already be in the PEM Format.
8. In NetSuite, Navigate to Setup > Company > Keys
9. Click New
10. Name: Enter Name
11. Click Files
12. Click Choose File
13. Select the Key generated from Step 4
14. Password: Enter Password
15. Click Save
16. Note: It is expected that the Private key will be uploaded without any error.
