REQUIREMENT:
I am as administrator and i have setting dashboard for employee center type, I’d like to apply this dashboard to all employee center. how to do it ?
ANSWER:
Currently, without the SuitePeople HR module, NetSuite does not support publishing dashboards to Employee Center users.
There is a known Enhancement : 537835 Setup > Company > Enable Features > Employees > Make Employee Center Dashboard Publishing Available to Customers Without SuitePeople HR.
What you can Try :
- You can manually instruct Employee Center users to customize their own dashboards, but there is no automated or admin-driven way to push a dashboard layout to all Employee Center users without SuitePeople HR.
- If this feature is critical, consider submitting a vote for the enhancement through your NetSuite account manager or support contact to increase its priority.
Steps to Manually add dashboard per user :
1. Go to Your Home Dashboard > Click the Home tab (or the house icon) at the top left.
2. Customize Your Dashboard > Click the Personalize > A panel will appear with available dashboard “portlets” (widgets) > Add Portlets
3. Drag and drop standard portlets like Reminders, Tasks, Calendar, Shortcuts, or Custom Search onto your dashboard.
- Changes are saved automatically as you add, remove, or rearrange portlets.
- Tip : You can provide users with a screenshot or a list of recommended portlets and their configurations.
