NetSuite Ship Central enables packing or shipping capabilities with shipping carrier integration within your NetSuite account. It also provides the app that lets you pack and ship orders through a tablet or kiosk device. Based on your fulfillment requirements and setup, you can pack or ship through the app or NetSuite UI. If you set up shipping for the app, you can process orders packed through the app or NetSuite UI, separately. Without packing capabilities in your account, you can process orders for shipping only.
NetSuite Ship Central, together with SCM Mobile, extends packing and shipping capabilities to enable you to:
- Pack items into cartons and transfer packed cartons onto pallets
- Identify picked items across multiple orders for a customer and pack them at the same time
- Ship through carriers that you integrate with your NetSuite ShipEngine account
- If you want to enable shipping, you must create a ShipEngine account within NetSuite. Accounts created outside of NetSuite cannot be integrated with Ship Central. For more information about the NetSuite ShipEngine account, see https://www.shipengine.com/netsuite/.
- View estimated and actual shipping costs for a variety of shipping services and options
- Gain visibility into which items are packed across multiple cartons or pallets and shipped out of your location
As NetSuite’s standard shipping solution, the NetSuite Ship Central SuiteApp is available for all NetSuite accounts.
