Pre-Built Chart of Accounts for SuiteSuccess Software Editions

SuiteSuccess Software editions now include a pre-built Chart of Accounts designed specifically for SaaS organizations. 

 

What’s Included:

Within the file of cabinet for SuiteSuccess Software implementations, there will be a folder titled SaaS SuiteSuccess COA that will include several files to guide the conversation with prospects and customers around NetSuite chart of accounts best practices.

  • Instruction file to summarize the content of the folder and provide guidance on how to use these assets.
  • Sample visual file – this will not import into NetSuite but is color-coded to show parent: child structure and account groupings that are common within financial statements.
  • Import files, ordered by sequence, that can be used to import the pre-built chart of accounts into NetSuite, or to be used as a template for the customer to map their existing chart of accounts into a recommended parent: child structure.
  • Sample Department, Class, and Statistical Account files for segments and non-financial account examples commonly seen in the SaaS industry.

How to Use

While instructions are provided in the delivered folder, it’s important to note that the expectation is not for customers to adopt this Chart of Accounts exactly as-is. It is used to steer conversation toward a chart of accounts optimized for NetSuite’s out-of-the-box reporting, with the recommended numbering scheme, hierarchies, and summarized groupings for financial statements.

 

Demo Accounts

SuiteSuccess Software Stairway accounts have already been updated to use the pre-built chart of accounts, departments, and classes. No import is required. Effective: October 16, 2025  

 

NetSuite Subscription Metrics SuiteApp

The new NetSuite Subscription Metrics SuiteApp is now available. It allows businesses to easily track key metrics like MRR, ARR, churn, and bookings with live dashboards, filters, and detailed reports.

 

Editions Included:

All SuiteSuccess Software editions (standard and premium) globally will include Subscription Metrics dashboard, as it is translated across 26 languages. Customers meeting the pre-requisites below can install the SuiteApp as it’s free of charge.

 

Pre-requisites:

  • OneWorld enabled account, updated to 25.2
  • Advanced Billing feature
  • Subscription Metrics feature
  • (if used) Multi-Currency and Currency Exchange Rate Type features

Key Features:

  • Track detailed changes in ARR and MRR with a 12-month rolling forecast
  • Visualize new and churned customers, retention rates, acquisition trends, and MRR growth
  • Filter and drill down dashboard by subsidiary, class, item, department, customer, or location
  • Compare KPIs across multiple periods for trend analysis
  • Export to CSV for further analysis
  • Customize KPI formulas

 As part of a late October release, users will be able to leverage NetSuite’s Rename Record functionality for the included records and fields.

 

For Existing Customers:

As detailed in the SuiteApp Help Topic, the items within NetSuite must be configured for SaaS Metrics. There is a checkbox for items that should be included in the delivered metrics. Additionally, there are SaaS Metrics Start and End Dates to drive reporting for that specific item and when its transactions should be included in metrics.

 

Once items are configured, the SuiteApp will run a job overnight to include existing transactions for items flagged for SaaS Metrics between the SaaS Metrics Start and End Dates.

 

Dashboard:

For roles accessing the SuiteApp dashboard there will be a center tab for Subscription Metrics. Dropdown options will include Revenue Metrics – which is the dashboard – and Setup, for configuration and settings. Effective: October 16, 2025 

 

SuiteSuccess Anything as a Service Standard Edition

The SuiteSuccess Anything as a Service Standard edition is now available in Australia and New Zealand. Designed for product-based businesses with project and/or recurring revenue streams, this edition enables customers to manage financials, inventory, projects, and revenue recognition—all within a unified solution. Effective: October 15, 2025  

SuiteSuccess Wholdesale Distribution Global Editions

The SuiteSuccess Wholesale Distribution Global Standard and Premium editions are now available to sell in the Philippines and Singapore. This unified solution streamlines both financial and operational processes for wholesale distribution companies, eliminating the need for multiple disconnected systems.These editions offer customers an out-of-the-box solution with minimal configuration and customisation options in this initial phase, with plans to expand functionality in future phases as their business grows. Effective: October 15, 2025
