Resolve Error: “Permission Violation: You need the ‘Vicarious emails’ permission to access this page. Please contact your account administrator.”

When a user edits or submits a transaction that undergoes a workflow that has a Send Email Action, the user gets the error ‘Permission Violation: You need the ‘Vicarious emails’ permission to access this page. This error is encountered if the user’s role does not have a permission on ‘Vicarious Emails’.

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Preferred Role: Click Edit
3. Click Permissions
4. Click Setup
5. Permission: Select Vicarious Email

• Level: Select Full

1. Click Add
2. Click Save
