Errors and Specific Error Resolution in integrator.io

integrator.io helps to connect business application and transfer data between them. To transfer the data between the source and destination both source and destination should be properly mapped. This is known as field mapping. There are different types of filed mappings are available in integrator.io. Once the field mapping is done we want to run the flow to transfer the data between them. While we run the flows there is a chance to occurs some errors.

There are different types errors like connection error, handlebar error, permission issue and data issue. All these issues comes under different classifications. When you receive an error, it can be intimidating. We are using four steps to resolve the error.

View Source : The Error Source is the Application where the error occurred.  The Error Source Application could be integrator.io or it could be one of your export or import applications that you have connected to with your flow.

Error Classification : It helps you to recognize and filter errors. Errors are automatically placed into any of the classification.

View Error Message : In the dashboard we can see the error message that was returned by the error source application.  With the help of this message we can easily understand the error that occurred and can easily resolve it.

Fix the Error : After identifying the error then we have to fix the error. There are two methods to fix the error.

  • Retry: You may need to edit the retry data and then retry in order to resolve the error. This resolves errors at a record level only.
  • Resolve & Re-Run: If the error was due to missing information from the export application then you will need to fix that part of the flow in integrator.io, resolve the error and then rerun the flow.
