ORDER TO CASH PROCESS
Order to Cash (also known as O2C or OTC) is a business process for receiving and processing orders placed by your customers.
SALES ORDER
A sales order is a document generated by the seller specifying the details about the product or services ordered by the customer. Along with the product and service details, the sales order consists of price, quantity, terms, and conditions etc.
NAVIGATION
Customers > Sales > Enter Sales Orders
- Enter the Customer Name and fill all necessary fields.
- Choose an item and fill all related information.
- Click save
CASH SALE
Cash sales are sales in which the payment obligation of the buyer is settled at once. Cash sales are considered to include bills, coins, checks, credit cards, and money orders as forms of payment. A cash sale eliminates the need for the seller to extend credit to a customer. Therefore, there is no risk of a bad debt.
NAVIGATION
- Customers > Sales > Enter Cash sales
- Fill all necessary fields .
- Click save.
INVOICE
An invoice is a document that lists goods that have been supplied or services that have been done, and says how much money you owe for them. Invoice is the part of the Sales order.

or we can directly create invoices from Sales orders.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION
Return authorization is the process by which a business can return an item. These items may be returned to a wholesaler, original vendor, or manufacturer.
CREDIT MEMO
A credit memo is an official written acknowledgement that money is owed back to a customer. If a customer receives a credit memo after having paid an invoice, this memo can be applied to any of the customer’s open or future invoices.
NAVIGATION
- Customers > Credit and returns > Issue Credit Memo
- Fill all necessary fields.
- Under the item subtab, Select the item which you want to return and also give the quantity and amount.
- Click save.
CUSTOMER DEPOSIT
A customer deposit is money from a customer to a company before the company earns it. Customer deposit accounting means that the funds will be credited.
- Customers > Accounts Receivables > Record Customer Deposits
- Select the customer to whom you want to pay the amount
- Select the select order
- Choose the payment method and fill all related information.
- Fill all other mandatory fields
- Click Save.
CUSTOMER PAYMENT
When a customer makes a payment, record the payment and apply it to the appropriate invoice or cash sale. Applying a payment decreases the amount due and tracks income.
NAVIGATION
- Customers > Accounts Receivables > Accept Customer Payments
- In the Customer field, select the customer or project you want to accept payment from.
- In the A/R Account field, select a posting account for this transaction.
- Fill all other necessary fields.
- Click Save.
AR-RELATED REPORTS
The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Report shows you how much you’re owed (unpaid invoices, statement charges & Credit Memos) at any point in time by each of your customers.
SALES
SALES BY CUSTOMER REPORT
The Sales by Customer Summary report is a general overview of your sales in dollar amounts by customer. It lists each customer and the amount they purchased from your business.

The Sales by Item Summary report is a general overview of your sales in dollar amounts by item.

SALES BY SALES REP
The Sales by Sales Rep Summary report lists the sales totals for each sales rep for the date range you choose. Sales reps appear under their managers in the sales hierarchy.

The Sales by Historical Team Summary report lists the total sales made by each sales rep under each of their supervisors. It lists total sales during the date range you choose.

CUSTOMERS BY SALES REP
The Customers by Sales Rep Detail report lists the leads, prospects, and customers with records created during the date or period range you select. Leads, prospects, and customers appear grouped by the sales rep they are assigned to.

A/R AGING REPORT
The A/R Aging Detail report shows unpaid invoices and statement charges in accounts receivable, grouped and summed by Customer/Project, and then summed for the period. The A/R Aging Detail report shows transactions based on the date they are closed, as opposed to the date they are applied. This includes credit memos.
