When adding an item to cart and clicking the item name link redirects the shopper to an URL with the format /product/<itemid> instead of using the item’s Web Store Display Name on the Item record
Solution
To fix this, make sure that the Item Options (Detail) field is added on the Order field set on the Website record. To do this, navigate to the following:
- Commerce > Websites > Website List
- Edit the Website record
- Under the Field Sets sub tab, along the Order row click the FIELDS INCLUDED IN FIELD SET column
- Click the Set button
- Select: Item Options (Detail)
- Click Add
- Click Submit
- Click OK
- Click Save
- After saving, submit a Cache Invalidation Request
