This proposal covers both the functional and UI development for Adding CVV Field In Website Credit Card Form and Customer Record in SCA webstore for the Cleerline Technology website.
Requirement
The client would like to add the CVV field to the website credit card form and also need to add that field to the Credit Card field under the financial tab in the customer record.
Our Solution
As per the requirement, it is possible to add a new CVV field to the website credit card form. But it is not possible to store these values in the NetSuite credit card record as NetSuite does not provide the option for adding new custom fields to the credit card record due to Security Standards.
An alternate solution for this requirement is to create a new subtab under the financial tab of the customer record and thus the credit card data (Values entered via website credit card form) including CVV can be stored as sub-list values under the new subtab.
- Customizations will be made in the website credit card form for adding the new CVV field.
- A custom subtab will be created under the financial subtab of the customer record.
- For storing the data from the website credit card form, a sub-list and custom fields will be created under the newly created subtab as per the requirement.
