Address and Phone details are Unset on the Customer Record for Existing Customers

Existing customers who have managed to purchase on a web store for the first time may have their address and phone number details unset or removed from their customer records in NetSuite.

To prevent this from happening, make the Phone Number field Mandatory:

  1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Address Forms
  2. Click the Customise link beside the Standard Address Form
  3. Once the Custom Address Entry Form page has loaded, look for the row containing the Phone description under the Fields tab
  4. Mark the checkbox for the Phone description under the Mandatory column
  5. Next, navigate to the Country tab and select all desired countries
  6. Save
