The SuiteCommerce Advanced Sign Up extension lets us use an alternate sign up form on our website, in addition to or instead of the existing standard customer registration form.
This form is particularly suited to wholesalers who want their users to register before they are able to shop on their site.
To complete the registration process, users must be approved either manually or through the automatic approval process. We can decide which fields to include on the form and whether the form creates a lead or customer record in NetSuite.
Advance Sign up set up
- Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install bundles.
- Search and install the bundle SC Advanced Sign Up.
- Activate the Advance Sign up Extension from Extension Manger.
- After Activating the Extension go to Commerce > Websites > Configuration.
- Select the website and domain where the Advanced Sign Up extension is activated and click Configure.
- Navigate to the Extensions tab.
- In the Advanced Sign Up subtab, fill out the listed fields According to needs.
- Click Save
We can modify the setting of Advance Sign up from here as shown below.

As shown in the below form we can Modify or Add the Form Filed from Here.

Note: – To take advantage of the Advanced Sign Up extension, we must set the Type of Customer Registration field to a setting that fits the needs of our website.
You can find the Type of Customer Registration field in the Shopping tab, Registration Page subtab of the Web Site Setup record.
Approval Process of the New registration
After setting up the Advance Sign up extension, we can view the saved search associated with Advanced Sign Up.
The following saved search is created automatically when we install the Advance Sign up extension:
- Advanced Sign Up Pending Approval Customers — we can check which customers have signed up on our site using the Advanced Sign Up form and are currently pending approval.
This saved search tells us which customer or lead records require action from us and helps ensure that we do not miss a user’s sign-up request.

If we will Edit this Record we can see SC Advanced Sign Up – Status below custom sub tab as shown below.

After Approving this Email will be sent to the Customer Email Address to set the Password, for that first we need to enable send email from website setup.
– Edit the website
- Click on Email tab
- click on other email
- Under registration Confirmation check Send email
- Under Email Form Address Enter the email address that should show in the Form field when email messages are sent to Web store customers.

Create Email Template for Advance Sign Up
First we need to download the File from file Cabinet
- Document > File > File Cabinet
SuiteBundles > Bundle 334830 > com.netsuite.advancedsignup > EmailTemplates
- Download the file
- Now we can Create Email Template by Navigating to Document > Template > Email Template
- We can use this Download file to the new Template.
After Creating Email template, we can add that on Configuration Record of Advance Sign Up as shown below.
