Analytic Portlets on dashboard

 The Analytics portlet helps you to visualize workbook (chart, pivot table, or table view) available in your account on your dashboard. You can add up to 10 Analytics Portlets, and each portlet can display one visualization. The list includes all your saved workbooks and any workbooks that have been shared with you by other users.

Steps to add an Analytics Portlet

1. Click Personalize in the upper right corner your dashboard. Or click on Personalize Dashboard in the Settings portlet.
2. On the Personalize Dashboard palette > Standard Content tab > click the Analytics icon or drag it onto the dashboard.

If the Personalize Dashboard palette does not include the Analytics portlet, the Analytics Workbook feature is not enabled.

Steps to enable SuiteAnalytics Workbook

1. Log in to your NetSuite account as an administrator.
2. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features, and click the Analytics subtab.
3. Check SuiteAnalytics Workbook check box

• Click Save.

Setting Up the Analytics Portlet

After adding Analytics portlet on dashboard, You can select chart, pivot table, or table view per portlet.

1. Click Set Up in your Analytics Portlet.

In the Analytics popup window, select the visualization from the list on the left panel. In the list you can see your workbook visualizations, and those shared with you.

• Charts are represented by the Chart icon 

• Pivot tables are represented by the Pivot Table icon 

• Table views are represented by the Table View icon 

• In the Settings panel on the right,
• Enter a title for the portlet in the Custom name field or in translatable Default Portlet Title field.
• If you leave these fields empty, the portlet displays the name of the workbook and the visualization.
• If your workbook visualization includes a name in the translatable Default Portlet Title field, do not enter a name in the Custom name field. The Custom name field replaces the translatable field name
• Click Save and your workbook visualization will appear in the portlet.
