Description
We need to give the ability to attached files (FILES) where the record doesn’t have edit permission. Only the view/create permission is given. NetSuite will not allow attaching a document to a record if it doesn’t have edit permission or full permission.
Solution:
There is a free bundle in NetSuite, File Drag and Drop enables you to upload single or multiple files from your desktop to the file cabinet or to a record page. Bundle No: 41309. Please check how to configure this bundle in suite answer Answer Id: 39442.
After installing the bundle we need to change script permission.
-Goto Customization>Scripting>Script Deployments>Edit customdeploy_dad_user_service_sl .
-Change Execute As Role to Administrator.
-Save.
