Field types in SuiteAnalytics Workbook

All fields in the records and fields browser will display a small icon that identifies the fields type as shown here.  There are several different types of fields; Numeric Text Date Boolean fields Hierarchical fields/Polymorphic fields Custom fields.

Key things to remember when work with SuiteAnalytics Workbook

Here’s some key things to remember when first beginning to work with SuiteAnalytics Workbook.  SuiteAnalytics Workbook combines many of the capabilities of NetSuite’s search and reporting tools. But it does not replace these tools. SuiteAnalytics Workbook enables you to identify why a particular business event happened by summarizing,  aggregating, and visualizing workbook source data.  Analytics home page allows you to manage two primary components, data sets and workbooks. User roles with the SuiteAnalytics Workbook permission can view, modify, share, and delete their own workbooks. User roles with the analytics administrator permission can view, share, modify, and delete all workbooks in your  account. When planning your workbooks, refer to sample documents from your legacy system or a planning template such  as the provided workbook design template.
