- Starting from NetSuite Version 2015 Release 2:
- If the customer has a default tax code, it is used for the invoice.
- If no default tax code exists for the customer, the tax code is determined by the tax schedule on the item and the shipping address.
- For projects created prior to NetSuite Version 2015 Release 2:
- Tax Lookup Variations:
- The NetSuite tax lookup based on shipping address may vary depending on the country.
- Project Management and Advanced Tracking:
- It’s mentioned that if using the basic Projects feature, Project Management and Advanced Project Tracking are not enabled.
