By default, if you are not using Job Costing and Project Budgeting feature, the Budget Subtab will not appear on both Standard and Custom Project Forms.
Here are the different scenarios why the Budget Subtab will disappear from the Project Record when using Custom Form:
1.Budget Subtab is not enabled on the Custom Form:
To verify this go to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms.
Edit the Custom Project Form.
Under Subtabs verify if Budget is checked to Show.
2.Budget Subtab is checked to Show but there are no elements under it:
On NetSuite’s user interface, all subtabs that does not have any component or elements under them will not appear on the Form.
On the Custom Project Form check the Fields and Sublists Subtabs to verify if the elements for Budget are not checked to Show on the form.
3.Budget Subtab is checked to Show but the elements under Budget are moved to a different subtab:
On the Custom Project Form check if the following standard elements under Budget are moved to a different subtab and if that subtab is checked to Show on the form.
- Cost Budget
- Billing Budget
The scenarios described above are also applicable on checking other standard Subtabs that are missing on a record or transaction.
