Caching and Data Profiling

To guarantee performance and scalability, NetSuite employs data profiling, proactive monitoring, and caching.

Data distribution analysis is used to optimize database performance. The best query execution is determined by looking at the data profile. NetSuite continuously and proactively tracks data changes in order to keep a current data profile.

Caching is the process of storing previously used information, queries, and code for later use. Caching is employed strategically across the application to enhance scalability and performance. Databases, application infrastructure, networks, and browsers are all affected by caching. Content that can be retrieved from a cache speeds up client, server, and network response times.

Modifications made to data and configuration have the potential to impact caching, data profiles, and overall performance. The introduction of code alterations, updates to existing software versions, installations or upgrades of bundles, deployments of SuiteApps, or the activation of new features can render a cache invalid. Similarly, customization adjustments made to SuiteScript scripts, workflows, templates, forms, and fields can also influence caching and performance. As a consequence of these modifications, there may be a temporary delay as new code and assets are not yet cached or optimized.
