I would like to know is it standard behaviour for sales order created under Canada subsidiary, the standard tax amt and gross amount columns at item lines are not showing ?
I’m not using taxjar for canada so by right it should compute the individual item line tax and PST tax amount or total both in tax amt column ?
I have checked the sales order form, both field are enabled and not able to disabled actually.
If there are any other settings that required to view these 2 fields for canada, pls let me know. Thanks !
Solution:
Upon further checking and according to SuiteAnswers Article ID: 61410, Gross Amount and Tax Amount columns do not appear on sales transaction forms for US and Canadian Customers because the two fields are useful for sales wherein item prices are inclusive of tax.
The two fields are available for customers in Europe (those that are using VAT).
I have noted that this is still a pending Enhancement 165243 – Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Orders > Gross Amount and Tax Amount columns do not appear on sales transaction forms for Canadian customer.

This is current system limitation.
