Change default carrier from FedEx to UPS using CSV Posibility

In our Customer records, there is a field for Carrier and Shipping Method in the preferences tab.

We have to change our default shipment from FedEx to UPS, but the customer records created before this week have not changed. I tried to upload CSV, but the Carrier is not in the mapping section. I’ve tried different options as well. Can you help us?

At the moment, importing CSV from the carrier is a limitation of NetSuite, but we have the ability of the enhancement request 180900 to update the “shipping carrier” through CSV import. To request or vote on product enhancement, use the SuiteIdeas page

Based on the SuiteAnswers article ID 92050, as a workaround, instead of updating the Carrier, we may update the Shipping Method that is linked to the Carrier.

1. We need to create a CSV import file that includes:

Internal (client) ID

Shipping method

For the shipping method, enter sample shipping methods (e.g., FedEx 2Day®) for carriers (FedEx/More) that we need to define in each Customer record.

2. Upload the file to Configuration > Import/Export > Import CSV Records

Mapping:

Internal client ID = client: Internal ID

Internal shipping method ID = customer: Shipping method.

After the Shipping Method is completed, the Carrier will also be filled.
