Changes Not Reflecting in Renamed “Class” Field

In NetSuite, the term “class” has been renamed to “Service lines” as required by the client. However, despite this change, users may notice that the old label “class” still appears in transactions when creating new records.

This discrepancy occurs because the field labels for records on existing custom forms are not automatically updated when changes are made through the “Rename Records/Transactions” feature. As a result, Administrators need to manually edit the “Class” field label on existing custom forms to reflect the new name, “Service lines” in the transactions.

It is important to note that while this manual adjustment is required for existing custom forms, the name change will automatically apply to standard forms in NetSuite.
