Issue
Any reason why in the last hour or 2 I have started receiving duplicate SBRB booking confirmation emails as per the attached. Only one booking is going in just 2 confirmation emails.
Reason
The email has been sent using saved search. It trigger in both create and update mode of SPRB record. Hence you updated the record, and you’re getting duplicate emails. The workflow is also used to calculate the total rental cost This also implies the updating of the record.
Suggested Solution
To avoid receiving duplicate emails, one solution is to use update fields in existing saved search. We can use the SPRB status as the update filter field and “PAPERWORK READY” as the when new value is field value. Then you will only get emails when produce new SPRB records. Further changes to other fields will not result in the receiving of duplicate emails.
