NetSuite 2023.2 brings improvements to internationalization features, including updates to country names. These changes are aligned with the latest ISO standards.
The revised ISO short names have been applied to existing records, transactions, tax reports, and subsidiaries in your account. However, please note that text fields in your account, such as address fields, will still display the old country names. To address this, manual updates are needed.
To ensure consistency, update text fields containing the old country names in all relevant records. This includes open transactions that involve shipping or billing addresses. Be sure to review all channels where country names are hardcoded, such as the NetSuite UI, scripts, workflows, and integrations.
