We can create variables in the theme workspace and make them configurable from the SMT. First, we should initialize a variable and add a comment as shown in the image.
Type can be color, string.. The Label will be the text that will be shown on the SMT. Once the Variables are created we can assign them to the various SCSS files.
Once the variables are created, we can group them by adding the variables in the _grouping.scss. As shown below, the label will be the text that is displayed, and the variables declared as children will be grouped under the main tab.
