Creation of bins and set up items for adding bin (Using CSV)

(In advanced Bin Management)

The client wants to create bins for their locations and we have to set up the item records to use the bins.

To create the bin

Go to Lists > Supply Chain > Bins > New

Add the details of the bin and the location of the bin.

Click save.

For setting the item to use bin, checked the use bin feature of the item record.

To check this checkbox for multiple items prepare an import file with the Item name, and Item internal ID, use bin

Import this file to the system. Map the item’s internal ID and use the bin to “yes”

Click save. After that the items will be updated.
