In order to create a custom record and that should be shown on another page as the child of that record follow these steps.
Create a new custom record type
Go to customization> lists,records& fields> new
Enter a name and save it
Enter the Id for the Record. If you forget to create an Id, the Netsuite default functionality will create a numeric id automatically. we can create the id in text for our easy understanding.
To make the custom record as a Parent Record click the “check box Allow Child Record Editing”.
Create new fields that you need to add.
In the list of record types select the one which we are added now. Put a checkmark in the show in the list that will help to show that field in public.
Last, add a new field for the parent link.

In the parent link field enter the type
Here the parent record is a task. The new record type will be shown under the task record.
Put the checkmark in ‘record is parent’
Enter the parent subtab details. In that subtab, will shows the new record type.
Save it.
Now on the task record page, we can see the new record tab in the specified subtab
