CSV Import Error: “Invalid Subsidiary Reference key” for Journals.

Scenario

During the CSV import of Journal Entry an above error is received.

Solution

1. Use the correct format for CSV file by exporting list of Subsidiaries: 
2. Check the subsidiaries mentioned in the file is correct with the NetSuite record.
   Navigate to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries.
   Subsidiary is spelled the way it is spelled in the record. Correct format if the subsidiary has sub subsidiary is Parent Subsidiary: Child Subsidiary
3. When using the Internal ID instead of name, set it correctly during the Field Mapping:
   1. Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
   1. Proceed with the Import
      1. Field Mapping page: Subsidiary
         1. Click the Pencil icon
         1. Reference Type: Select Internal ID
         1. Click Done

4. When importing a single Journal, select default Subsidiary Value on the Field Mapping page:
   1. Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
   1. Proceed with the Import
   1. Field Mapping page: Subsidiary (Req)
   1. Click the Pencil icon
   1. Select Subsidiary
   1. Click Done
