Scenario
User is trying to import Inventory Transfer records for Inventory Items via CSV Import and getting an error: “Invalid Item Reference key XXX for Subsidiary XXX”.
Solution
There are instances when doing CSV Import involving Inventory Items where Item Name/Numbercolumn in the CSV file is not going through resulting to the aforementioned error message. An alternative solution is to re-process the import with the Item Name/Numbercolumn updated/revised to include the Display Name/Code.
If the user already have an existing Item Saved Search of the items included in the Inventory Transferbeing imported, the user may include the Display Namefield in the results. Afterwards, user will export the file and concatenate the column for Item Name/Numberand Display Name/Codeto combine them in one column.
