CSV Import to Mark/Unmark Checkbox on Item record

Here are the steps for the import process:

  • Create a CSV file with the following columns:
    • Columns:
      1. Internal ID – Internal ID of the items to be updated.
      2. (Name of the checkbox)
  • Save the file as CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv)
  • Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
    • In the Import Assistant:
      1. Scan & Upload CSV File
      2. Import type: Select Items
      3. Record Type: Choose the type of item.
    • Upload CSV File
    • Click Next
    • In Import Options: Select Update
    • Click Next
  • File Mapping:
    • Field Mapping:
  • Map all of the fields listed as follows:
Internal ID<<<==>>>Item: Internal ID
Yes/ No<<<==>>>Item: (Name of the checkbox)
  • Click Next
    • Save mapping & Start Import:
    • Import map Name: Enter Name
    • Click Save & Run
