‘Current Record’ value is not appearing in Selection list of the Set Field Value action on the Workflow

Problem Statement:

We have encountered an issue during the workflow development where the ‘Current Record’ value is not appearing as expected in the Selection list of the Set Field Value action on the Workflow. This seems to be due to the large volume of transactions in the account, which causes the field values to buffer and load slowly. Even when manually typing the field name ‘%Current Record’, it does not appear in the list.

Solution

This issue can be resolved by setting the ID in the formula field instead of selecting the current record from the selection
