Custom Field Disappearing After a Few Seconds for a Specific User

Issue Description:

For a specific user with a particular role, a custom field on the Purchase Order transaction form disappears a few seconds after the page loads. This issue is unique to this role and does not occur for other roles. Additionally, other users with the same role do not experience this problem.

Cause:

The custom field was not disappearing, but was shifting to the right side of the screen after the page loaded. This behavior can be observed by zooming out of the page, where the field becomes visible again.

Solution:

To prevent the custom field from moving and ensure it remains in place, enable the “Unrolled view” option. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Items subtab on the Purchase Order page.
  2. Scroll to the rightmost side of the screen.
  3. Locate and click the box icon with an arrow pointing upwards.
  4. In the pop-up window, click Leave to refresh the page.

This action collapses all subtabs, displaying only one subtab at a time, and stabilizes the custom field’s position, preventing it from moving to the right after the page loads.
