Solution
We need to categorize the transaction type for the organization’s unique reporting and analysis needs. So we need to create a custom segment as well as need to provide values for the custom segment. And apply the above-mentioned transaction types. Also, we are enabling the GL impact check box to be checked, If it is checked, then the selected custom segment value will be displayed on the GL impact page as well as in the financial report.
Assumptions
- We have to provide the custom segment name and corresponding values. It would be great if you could suggest the name and values for the custom segment?
- We assume that this is not a mandatory field to be selected.
- The user will manually select the custom segment value if needed.
