Custom Work Order – Production Accounting

Background

Production accounting involves the overall production activities involved in the business process, they need to track each of these processes into Netsuite.

As we have discussed with the GM.Tech and GM.Admin,In the Production accounting we need to track the Inventory of both Raw Materials, Finished Goods.

Raw materials received are first stored in a Dummy location.There will be six types of Wheat variety.GM Tech will decide where they need to store the received Raw Materials.There will be two options the received raw materials can be either stored in Silos or Godowns.There are 6 silos capable of storing 2000 metric ton each and 2 warehouses for  storing Raw materials.

Raw Materials is taken from silos/Godowns to the Raw Wheat Bins (6 Nos x150 Metric ton each) inside the Mill. From each Raw Wheat Bin,

required quantity of each variety of wheat is taken as per the required raw material

mix and blended to prepare a batch of specified qty of wheat for the production

planned and further processing of this batch such as Cleaning, Grinding etc. done.

Requirements

  1. Track the Inventory of each Type of items(Wheat)in the Silos ,Godowns and Raw Wheat Bins Quantity wise(In ton)
  2. Track the Inventory  taken from Godowns to Silos 
  3. Track the inventory which is taken from Godowns to Raw Wheat Bins
  4. Track the inventory which is taken from Silos to Raw Wheat Bins.
  5. Track the Inventory which is taken for the Production Process ie;inventory drawn from the Raw Wheat Bins are considered as Items in WIP (Work in progress)
  6. Updation of Finished Goods for each Hour

GM.Tech has responsible for  providing the Data for the Inventory updation of Raw materials.

He will be also responsible for deciding where  we need to stock the received raw materials,in silos or Godowns and also he has the responsible to give the proper data  for the Raw materials taken from the Raw Wheat bins.

The warehouse manager is responsible for updating the production data every hour to the system this will automatically update the inventory of finished Goods as well as the inventory of the Packing Materials.

Design Objective

  1. Provision for GM Tech to  receive the Raw Materials to each Locations
  2. Provision for GM Tech to transfer the Inventory from Godowns to Silos,Silos to Raw Wheat Bins,Godowns to Raw wheat bins and Raw Wheat bins to WIP
  3. Provision for GM  Tech to track the Inventory taken for the Production Process this will be done  in 2,3 times a Day(Raw Wheat bins to WIP).
  4. Provision for  WarehouseManager to update the Inventory of Finished Goods every hour this will reflect in the Inventory of Packing Materials also.

Updates 

Chakki Atta 1 KG packets are sold in a bag of 20 pcs. So one Chakki Atta 1 Kg means 20 KG. Similarly Chakki Atta 2 KG is also 20 KG and Chakki Atta 5 KG is 25 KG. So calculate weight in MT accordingly in all reports whenever quantities are mentioned in MT. Also for above items the packing material bags should be reduced in the same way.

Chakki Atta 1 KG –  20 packets should reduce 

 Chakki Atta 2 KG – 10 packets should reduce 

Chakki Atta 5 KG –  50 packets should reduce

Mother Bag Sooji 10 X 55 packets 1 reduce
