Customer Statement print

Jira Code: CORP:12

The customer’s current accounts receivable balance due will be shown in the balance section. It may consist of the total amount owed for open transactions that are past their due date based on the invoice terms.
This field may also show the consolidated total owed for open transactions for this customer-sub customer hierarchy that is past their due date based on the invoice terms.
Note: For open transactions that do not have a due date, the transaction date is used as the due date to calculate this total. Some time the consolidated payment or the payment through top-level customer feature may result in showing this amount as due. If the client simply needs this balance forwarded to be deleted then it can be done by customizing the print template.

We can navigate to generate statements page by using
Transactions>Customer>Generate statement or Transactions>Customer>Individual statement

In that, if you don’t give any start date(leave that field blank) and then check the show open transaction check box and click on Print button then the statement without balance forward can be generated.
If we don’t give any start date and don’t check the show open transaction field then we will get the entire payment history/ due history of that customer. It is based on this the balance forward amount is populated in the print about. If we give any start date then the balance amount just above that date for that customer will be populated in the print out as the balance forward rate. So to avoid populating the balance forward in the print just leave the start date field as blank then check the “Show open transaction” and print it. Then the balance forward line will not be populated in the pdf print.
