The client wanted to customize the inventory profitability report such that – only the parent item should be shown in the list , the total revenue column must be in the descending order and to show only item that have quantities in the reporting period .
Filter added – quantity – not empty 
Revenue sorted in descending order – 
Under more options – unchecked – show zeros 
And choose expand level – collapse all
The current customization organizes the report with revenue sorted in descending order within item groups
In NetSuite, as a standard practice, when items are grouped, sorting the revenue in descending order applies to the item group rather than the entire set of items. If only parent items are displayed, items without a parent won’t appear, but the revenue will still be sorted in descending order throughout the report.
