DASHBOARD:
– A visual workspace that empowers users with visibility to real-time data analysis and access to critical information the user needs at their fingertips.
– NetSuite provides a default set of portlets for the dashboard in each center. Most default dashboard configurations can be personalized.
DASHBOARD PORTLETS:
Some of the most common dashboard portlets used to monitor the health of a business:

- a. CUSTOM SEARCH PORTLET (Detail Search):
– Custom Search portlets display saved search results on a dashboard.
– Up to 6 Custom Search Portlets can be added to a dashboard.

- b. CUSTOM SEARCH PORTLET (Summary Search):

2. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS PORTLET:
– Key Performance Indicators portlet displays a summary line for each selected KPI, with clickable links that drill down into each KPI’s underlying data source.
– Only 1 Key Performance Indicator portlet can be added to a dashboard.

3. KPI METER PORTLET:
– KPI Meter portlet presents a visual representation for one of the KPIs included in the Key Performance Indicators portlet.
– Up to 3 KPI Meter portlets can be added to a dashboard.


4. KPI SCORECARD PORTLET:
– KPI Scorecard portlets displays a performance scorecard that can include complex data comparisons across multiple KPIs over multiple date ranges or accounting periods. These comparisons are stored in NetSuite as separate KPI Scorecard records.
– Only 1 KPI Scorecard portlet can be added to a dashboard.

5. TREND GRAPHS PORTLET:
-Trend Graph portlets display a chart to illustrate the differences in KPIs data values over selected time intervals.
– Up to 5 Trend Graph portlets can be added to a dashboard.

6. CUSTOM PORTLET:
Custom Portlets enable you to display SuiteScript results on your dashboard, such as the Subsidiary Navigator Portlet.
The Subsidiary Navigator portlet is a managed SuiteApp.
– It allows you to limit the information displayed on your dashboard to a specific subsidiary.
– It contains an organizational chart from which you select the subsidiary whose records you want to display.
– Selecting a subsidiary is equivalent to setting the Set Preferences > Restrict View to a specific subsidiary.
– The settings will apply for the duration of the current session. Normal settings will be restored upon next login.
CUSTOM PORTLET: SUBSIDIARY NAVIGATOR PORTLET:
This portlet only works with OneWorld Accounts.
