Issue
When attempting to delete [void] a Credit Memo that has already been refunded, an error occurs, preventing the deletion [voiding] process. The error message states: “Deleting [Voiding] a Credit Memo that has been refunded is not permitted.”
Solution-1
- Edit the Credit Memo
- Navigate to Items tab > Apply sub tab > unapply the Credit Memo from the Refund
- Click Save.
- Edit the Credit Memo again.
- Hover mouse over Actions > select Delete.
Solution -2
- Click Void button if user wants to void it.
- If Void button is missing, please navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > General Tab > Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals = F
