Demand Planning Setup

The features that need to be enabled for setting up the demand planning are as follows:-

• Inventory: Simply tell NetSuite that we will be tracking the inventory, and our counts on our goods. The feature is in the item & Inventory subtab under inventory session.
• Demand Planning: Create orders based on forecasted demand
• Available to Promise: Check item availability based on outstanding transfer orders, purchase orders, work orders, and sales orders.
• Advance bill of materials

Distributed Resource Planning : This feature is used if all of your products come into one central warehouse and then you use demand planning to route them out of them out of that warehouse
