Requirement
Is there a way to expose a “Name”(Entity) field under the Cash Back section of a Deposit form? I am not finding a way to do it through customizing the form.
Our accounting team wants to be able to find these transactions in the Transactions subtab of the entity record. I told them I do not believe this is possible but wanted to check here just in case.
Solution
Unfortunately, the ability to Add names/fields to Cash Back tabs is still not supported by NetSuite. There is currently an Enhancement filed for this logged under Enhancement #356104 – Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms > Customize a Deposit form > Under Screen Fields > Please have the ability to customize and add column fields under the Other Deposits and Cash Back tabs. I apologize for the system limitation.
I would also like you to know that this behavior is standard in NetSuite as of the moment and it is one of the common concerns of other users.
