Difference of Item Level and Body Level Discount Apply In Sales Order

Item Level Discounts: 

1. Item level Discounts applies the Discount on the price of the individual line item. This implies that price of individual item decreases.
2. Item Level Discounts will always cause reduction in the Order Subtotal, since, Order Subtotal is the sum of the prices of the individual items. It can be applied on the Items field.

Body Level Discounts: 

1. Body Level Discounts applies the Discount on the Sales order’s Subtotal. 
2. Therefore, Body Level Discounts will always be shown as a separate Discount Offer in the Sales order Summary section in NetSuite.
