Display Item Components on Picking Ticket

There is a requirement to print the components of Kit/Package Items. To print the components, some preferences are needed to be set accordingly.

Solution

1. Configure the Kit/Package Item

  1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items
  2. Preferred Kit/Package Item: Click Edit
  3. Click Purchasing/Inventory tab
  4. Click Components
  5. Display Components on Transactions: Enter Checkmark
  6. Click Save

2. Set the Accounting Preferences

  1. Navigate to Setup Accounting Accounting Preferences
  2. Click Order Management
  3. Always Print Kit Items on Picking Tickets: Enter Checkmark 
  4. Click Save

Note: No need to modify any template. Just make sure that the settings above are applied. The configuration will only take effect on new transactions.
