Proposal Summary
This proposal covers the scope of enhancements aimed at improving the flexibility and
customization of configurable home pages and the product detail page.
The scope and the provided estimate are based on the anticipation, expectation, and
understanding through our discussions and email. If the scope change/additional feature
development identified during actual development, they will be treated as change request.
Requirement
1. Configurable EZ Shield Section
- The EZ Shield section is displayed on the homepage of all websites, even for those that do
not offer checks with EZ Shield. This results in irrelevant content for certain websites.
- Managing the EZ Shield section through a configuration record is required, allowing sites
without EZ Shield products to replace the content with custom text or images.
2. Customizable HTML/CSS Section on Homepage
- Need for site-specific custom content on the homepage, below the Shield Badge area.
3. Support for Multiple Product Images on Product Detail Page
- Current product detail page supports only one product image.
4. URL Field for Home Page Slider Banners
- Add a URL field to the homepage slider configuration to enable banners to link directly to
specific pages or products, enhancing navigation and user engagement.
Deliverables
- Configurable EZ Shield Section
Add a configuration field in the Website Configuration Record to manage the EZ
Shield section.
Provide the ability to replace the content (image/heading/text) with site-specific
content.
- Customizable HTML/CSS Section on Homepage
Add a blank HTML/CSS content area below the Shield Badge area, configurable per
site.
By default, this area will remain empty, allowing add custom content when needed.

- Updated Product Detail Page Template:
This is a standard feature, and we can display multiple product images using a
gallery or slider.
In the initial mockup, this section was hidden. However, we can revert the changes
to display the gallery slider on the PDP page
- Updated Slider Functionality:
Add a URL field to the homepage slider configuration to make banners clickable,
linking to the specified URL.
Update the directory path for loading homepage slider banners
Scope Limitation
For the EZ Shield section configuration, we anticipate that the image, heading, and text will
be available for every domain. If any field is missing, additional styles may need to be applied
to maintain the section’s responsiveness and ensure it displays correctly across all devices.
These additional styles are not included in the current scope.
Assumptions
The estimate is based on our current understanding of the requirements. Any UI or
functionality changes or additional feature development identified during
implementation will be treated as a change request.
We will be doing the development first in sandbox and after verification, we will
move the changes to production.
We will be considering only one domain for production push.
We assume that the EZ Shield section will include an image, heading, and text for
every domain.
