Error: Custom Role Is Unable to Use Email Under Actions on Transaction Records

Scenario

When the user of the Custom role is trying to use the Email function under Actions on Transaction Record, nothing happens, and no email is being sent.

Also, when navigating to Communications > Email there is no message being recorded.

Solution

  1. Log in as administrator
  2. Navigate to Setup User/Roles > Manage Roles
  3. Custom Role: Click Edit
  4. Click Lists
  • Permissions: Select Track Messages
  • Level: Select Edit
  • Click Save
